Embedded is a video from TED by Mikko Hypponen.  Mikko does a great job illustrating the evolution of viruses and how it has contributed to the eruption of online criminals.  A great topic delivered very effectively.

Being in the IT field, I can’t count the amount of times that I’ve been told that I’m an “IT” guy, not an artist.  Recently I came across this TED Talks with Jonathan Harris.  Jonathan is more than the typical computer scientist, he’s a social media storyteller.  I’m really impressed with the interfaces and applications he’s designed to encapsulate his vision.  After watching the TED Talk, check out these links to see if projects for yourself.  From his website, you’ll find several links to his work.
